The Therapy Team Leader supports daily therapy operations, supervising staff, managing scheduling, and ensuring effective patient care within a licensed discipline (80-90% of work hours).
- Assists the Director of Therapy Operations and maintains interdepartmental communication to meet hospital, patient, and staff needs.
- Creates a positive environment, fosters staff development, and promotes continuous improvement aligned with the hospital’s mission.
- Qualifications include current state licensure (PT, OT, SLP), BLS certification, and clinical or leadership experience (minimum 3 years). SLPs require CCC certification.
- Uses office equipment and Microsoft Office tools; physical ability to lift objects and reposition patients.
- Requires excellent communication, critical thinking, time management, and the ability to work independently.
- Works in a controlled environment, may be exposed to blood/body fluids, and must adhere to safety and dress standards. Flexibility for varied shifts, holidays, and disaster response is essential.
