Job Summary: Community Christian College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Professor to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our AAS degree program in Nursing. Job Summary: Community Christian College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Professor to join our faculty. This position requires a strong commitment to academic excellence, student success, and the integration of Christian values in education.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive nursing courses for the AAS degree program.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to nursing students.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote a positive learning environment.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current with nursing practices and education methodologies.
- Uphold the mission and values of Community Christian College.
- Must be licensed to practice nursing in Arizona or hold a multi-state license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Previous teaching experience in a nursing program preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to integrating Christian faith and values into teaching and mentoring.
