Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides high-quality, evidence-based healthcare to college students, faculty, and staff. Working within a collaborative, student-centered environment, the NP delivers primary care, health education, and preventive services to support the physical and mental well-being of the campus community.

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides high-quality, evidence-based healthcare to college students, faculty, and staff. Working within a collaborative, student-centered environment, the NP delivers primary care, health education, and preventive services to support the physical and mental well-being of the campus community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and collaborative agreements
- Provide sexual and reproductive health services, including STI testing and contraception counseling
- Offer mental health support and referrals as appropriate
- Promote wellness through health education, outreach, and preventive care initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and other campus departments to ensure holistic care
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA and institutional policies
- Participate in emergency response planning and campus health initiatives
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification (e.g., FNP, ANP, or equivalent)
- Active state licensure and prescriptive authority
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in adolescent or young adult health
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in college health, primary care, or urgent care settings
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare delivery
