The Staff Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position involves providing direct patient care and supervising staff in a skilled nursing facility.
- Responsibilities include monitoring residents†health, assisting with care plans, maintaining records, supervising CMAs and GNAs, administering medications, and ensuring hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to manage staffing, evaluate staff performance, and optimize resource use.
- Ensure timely communication with physicians, families, and staff regarding patient conditions and care needs.
- Investigate complaints and promote a respectful, team-oriented environment.
- Requirements: current state LPN license, BLS/CPR, nursing knowledge, compassionate nature, and supervisory experience.
- Preferred candidates are organized, interested in management, and committed to high standards.
