Position seeks Nuclear Med Techs as direct patient caregivers who perform dose preparation, administration, patient procedures, image processing, and preparation for physician review.
- Offers flexible schedules across multiple hospitals with benefits starting day 1, including student loan repayment, tuition reimbursement, and family care support.
- Provides a 1,700-bed health system with five hospitals, outpatient centers, and a large primary care network, supported by a team of physicians and staff dedicated to compassionate care.
- Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine, PET scans, cardiac stress tests, radiopharmacy functions, and possibly diagnostic CT if dual-certified.
- Ensures safety, maintains records, performs quality control, and administers radiopharmaceuticals following regulations and guidelines.
- Qualifications include graduation from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program, current certification (CNMT or ARRT(N)), Alabama license, and BLS certification. No prior experience required.
