Job Summary:

ASSA ABLOY Group is a global leader in access solutions, and they are seeking a Data Process Automation Intern. This role offers hands-on experience in automating data workflows and streamlining business processes while supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct business process understanding and reviews with business SMEs.

• Document the ‘as-is’ business process leveraging tools such as Microsoft Visio or similar tools to document detailed business processes, tools used, and functional workstreams involved.

• Identify process gaps or define opportunities for data process automation to drive standardization, productivity, and process improvement.

• Prepare business proposal with future state recommendations and next steps for incorporating data process automation.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field

• Demonstrated experience in documenting business processes

• Experience in applying RPA (robotic process automation), low code automation, or AI solutions

• Understanding of data structures, databases, and automation logic

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred:

• Technical expertise (preferred, but not required)
