Reports to: Director of Spiritual Formation and CALM Executive Pastor

Compensation: $42,000 -$50,000/annually

Job Summary: The LMCM Head of Outreach is responsible for organizing and supervising the missional outreach of Church at Lake Mead (CALM) and Lake Mead Christian Academy (LMCA). The LMCM Head of Outreach is part of the church team, but collaborates with the school team through the Director of Spiritual Formation. This includes, but is not limited to, the organization and facilitation of various grade-level service projects, financial planning for trips and outreaches, and/or developing and maintaining the Send and Serve program at the secondary level. The LMCM Head of Outreach will develop new opportunities to enhance all outreach programs, whether in the church or school. This is a collaborative effort with the Spiritual Formation and Church at Lake Mead teams.

Essential Job Functions

• Serve as the coordinator and manager for all aspects of the annual 5th-12th Send and Serve week programs
• Collaborate with the Pastoral team on the selection of trips and serving opportunities
• Oversee the selection, application, and placement of students and faculty in their respective trips and locations
• Develop and oversee the Church at Lake Mead’s local and global outreach ministries
• Collaborate on the development of leader training with an accountability plan for all leaders, teachers, and parent volunteers
• Collaborate with the volunteer coordinator to ensure all parents and families have gone through the proper process to be cleared for service
• Responsible for collaborating with the ongoing development, management, assessment, and expansion of programs and services that promote spiritual formation of the student body, staff, and faculty members
• Coordinate communication to parents on all matters pertaining to missional outreach
• Collaborate in adjusting, maintaining and distributing the department budget
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Ministry Leadership, Spiritual Formation, Pastoral Ministry, Counselin, or related field (In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of relevant experience)
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in professional ministry, higher education, or related experience
• Possess a strong desire to work with students and their families
• Spiritually mature Christian in agreement with the LMCM Statement of Faith and committed to the mission, vision, and core values of the LMCM Ministry
• Attends and is active with the Church at Lake Mead
