Title: Microbiology Tech III

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Duration: 4 Month

100% Onsite

Some travel between main site and Columbus Plant for sample collection/testing. About a 15–20-minute drive.

Main Responsibilities

  • Media making tasks
  • Perform audits on equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Sterilization of lab equipment
  • Test environmental samples; Swab samples and water samples.
  • Glassware sterilization
  • autoclave usage
  • Preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Auditing on equipment
  • Testing samples; powder, liquid, and raw ingredients.

Assignment has possibility of extension. If the candidate works out there can be extensions and possibility of full-time offer.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • 1 year is Micro lab (preferred), or lab experience (If they have lab experience, they can be a fresh grad)
  • Plating
  • Micro research is a plus
  • Detail oriented
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, Biology, or any Science with Micro experience.
