- As a medical records clerk, you will gather patient information from a variety of sources.
- You will maintain a master patient index.
- You will maintain continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- You will create new medical records and retrieve existing medical records.
Medical Records Clerk Qualifications:
- Advanced time management and organization skills.
- High attention to detail.
- 1 year or more working in a related field or position.
- Strong date entry skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology or ability to learn.
