Piedmont Healthcare is currently seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Medical Oncology physician to support our rapidly growing and evolving program at our Athens, GA campus. The ideal physician will have the passion to help make Piedmont Healthcare and our patients better, and, to help support and expand the clinical excellence known that defines the Piedmont Healthcare family.
The ideal BC/BE candidate will be self-motivated to excel as a clinician as well as committed to grow this new department. The BC/BE candidate will need to be licensed in the state of Georgia. The candidate must have great communication skills and genuine compassion for the patients as well as patients’ family/support teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in an outpatient clinic practice as well as helping further develop and grow the oncology service line.
Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is a rapidly growing 350-bed facility (about to expand to 420 beds in early 2022) which offers comprehensive healthcare services to a large part of northeast Georgia.
