Role Description

The Medical Office Receptionist will be responsible for managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, performing general receptionist duties, verifying insurance information, and ensuring that the front desk operations run smoothly. Other responsibilities include greeting patients, handling patient inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Phone Etiquette and Receptionist Duties
• Experience with Appointment Scheduling in a medical office setting
• Knowledge of Insurance Verification processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software
• Ability to records all necessary information in our Electronic Health Record system and handles all patient’s records confidentially in compliance with HIPAA and our privacy guidelines.
• Experience in a medical office or healthcare environment is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
