Summary
Provides administrative and clerical support for the Health Services Department. Duties may be complex in nature
and may involve access to confidential information.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Assists in daily business of the Health Service Administrator which includes general office work, answering phones,
- Performs a variety of confidential and complex medical administrative duties for the health service
- Coordinates the efficient operation of the office by maintaining confidential and general files
management.
- Coordinates and completes associated business reports. Researches, prepares, and edits
- Orders office supplies, schedules and coordinates meetings and appointments, and makes
- Assures that all assigned projects are complete in a timely and efficient manner and followsup
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College level courses preferable but not
- Two (2) years experience as a secretary or administrative assistant, perferably in a Medical Setting.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and use of the Internet.
- Ability to handle moderate assignments under general supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and organizational skills.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to be punctual for work and meetings.
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers.
- Ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures.
- Ability to accept constructive criticism.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
- Ability to use personal computers and associated software applications.
