Your Role
In this role, you'll start each day reviewing project documentation to fully understand system requirements and assembly specifications. You'll use a wide range of mechanical tools and equipment to build and assemble automation systems with accuracy and efficiency. Quality will be at the forefront - you'll inspect components and verify assemblies meet ATC's high standards throughout every stage of production.
Team collaboration is key. You'll work closely with engineers and fellow technicians to troubleshoot challenges, document processes, and suggest improvements that drive innovation and reliability. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is a fundamental part of how you'll ensure every build meets both performance and safety standards.

Required Skills And Experience
- 2+ years of experience in custom machine building or automotive repair
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment such as mills, lathes, and grinders
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Skilled in using inspection tools for precision part and assembly verification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Experience building or troubleshooting low-voltage electrical systems
- Understanding of PLC, robot, or related software programming
- Background in troubleshooting and refining machine vision, robotics, sensors, and safety systems
- Knowledge of OSHA and general machine safety standards
- Experience contributing to process documentation and training material improvements
