Major Function

This associate will be responsible for material moving to accommodate manufacturing needs. When not driving a fork lift, this person will load and unload product.

Essential Functions

• Using a standard stand-up reach truck and/or sit down fork truck, inventory must be moved to machine operators at various work centers.
• Additional responsibilities to include: assist with the activities of shipping/receiving
• Maintain accurate inventories
• Work within Warehouse Management System (Plex) to track inventories and shipments.
• Be able to work independently in meeting the stated position objectives with minimal direction.
• Be able to manage daily activities to meet production schedules and other company objectives.
• Be able to identify problems independently and implement common sense approaches to solutions with minimal direction.
• Be able to work as a “Team” with fellow associates.
  
  

Education/Experience

• 2+ years of reach truck experience preferred
• 2+ years working in WMS system
  
  

Desired Skills For The Job

• Hold or obtain forklift driver certification.
