In the role of Material Clerk I you'll play a pivotal part on our Logistics team. Assists with duties associated with the stocking and issuing of materials used in the construction of aircraft interiors following company procedures. This position reports to a Stockroom Supervisor or Stockroom Manager. This position contributes to our vision by: Receiving of Material: Unloading carts and verifying quantities received per work order, periphery inspection of material for damage, transferring material to picking shelves and proper receiving in MRP system (Royal IV). Filling Work Orders: Identifying materials requested and pulling material from stock. Control Inventory: All transactions must be input into Royal IV with all necessary paperwork properly completed to ensure accuracy of inventory and traceability of stock. Employee must be aware that the doors to the Stockroom must be locked at all times. Materials must be cycle counted and reconciled with Royal IV as requested by Supervisor. Returned material must be re-entered into Royal IV. Maintains a safe and clean working environment. General Notes: Must carefully handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not compromised by handling. All employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of company products. As business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future. Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.
