Marketing Intern (Paid Internship)

Position Summary

The Marketing Intern will assist the Senior Director of Brand Experience in executing events and programs, such as client events and trade shows, to deliver a top-tier client experience for Terrasmart. Responsibilities include supporting event planning and execution, coordinating third-party vendors, assisting with employee and community engagement efforts, managing social media for events, helping with graphic and creative design, and providing website editing support. The role will report to the Senior Director of Brand Experience but will also support the broader marketing team as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns, focusing on event management.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments to drive customer participation and loyalty.
• Plan and implement special events that leave clients with memorable experiences.
• Promote customer engagement and deliver exceptional service at events.
• Support the creation and execution of marketing strategies and promotions for each event.
• Handle administrative tasks to ensure events run smoothly from start to finish.
• Manage event registrations and maintain organized attendee lists.
• Complete special projects as assigned by marketing management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BA in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in marketing, public relations, or event management preferred.
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate reliability, and take direction effectively.
  
  

Work Environment

• Office-based with occasional travel for in-person events.
• Must be present at in-person events as scheduled.
