We are looking for a Marketing & Engagement Specialist to help identify new opportunities and support outreach, campaigns, content, and programs that connect Ludus with performing arts organizations nationwide.

Ludus is a SaaS company that builds digital tools trusted by thousands of organizations of all sizes to power their event ticketing, marketing, fundraising, retail and registration needs.

Ludus is seeking a Marketing & Engagement Specialist to help us connect with and support performing arts organizations nationwide. This role combines audience research, outreach, and content strategy to foster strong relationships and generate high-quality leads within the theatre, dance, and music communities.

As a key member of the marketing team, you’ll represent Ludus at conferences, webinars, and outreach events, helping to identify new market opportunities and shape campaign strategies. You’ll also contribute to professional programming and ensure our messaging and materials resonate with the broader performing arts community.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conference & Event Representation

Represent Ludus at national and regional conferences, workshops, and events, occasionally leading sessions or presentations on your own.

  • Campaign & Outreach Strategy

Plan and execute targeted outreach campaigns for theatre, dance, and music communities. This includes identifying key segments, creating assets, and ensuring follow-through and follow-up.

  • Content Development

Develop and create a range of marketing materials, including outreach content, newsletters, blog posts, and session outlines, tailored to the needs of performing arts organizations.

  • Educational Programming & Event Support

Collaborate on the development and delivery of workshops, professional development sessions, and conference presentations that reflect the Ludus brand and mission.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration

Partner with the marketing, sales, and support teams to align messaging, share insights, and continuously improve lead generation and engagement efforts.

Traits we're looking for

(In no certain order)

  • Understanding of the Performing Arts Landscape

Familiarity with the culture, challenges, and language of performing arts organizations, particularly in K–12 education, community programs, or nonprofit arts.

  • Strong Public Speaking & Presentation Skills

A confident, engaging presenter with experience speaking in front of groups—whether at conferences, professional development workshops, webinars, or in classroom settings.

  • Webinar & Virtual Event Experience

Familiarity with platforms like Adobe Connect, Livestorm, Zoom, or similar webinar tools.

  • Comfort with Design Tools

Ability to work with basic visual layout or design tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite to support marketing materials and presentations.

BONUS Qualifications

  • Background in performing arts: theatre, dance, music, or arts education.
  • Experience with Hubspot

  • Salary Range:
  • Travel: Up to 40% annually, varying by season and event schedule. Includes occasional evenings/weekends.
