Overview Of Market Insights Coordinator

At L.E.K., our best-in-class Market Insights team is at the forefront of crafting market research (i.e., surveys, focus groups) that addresses a wide variety of strategic business challenges for our clients. We invite you to be part of our journey.

In the role of a Market Insights Coordinator, your expertise will be central in deepening our understanding of market dynamics, underlining our commitment to produce market research that is both insightful and impactful. You will collaborate closely with our project execution teams, overseeing primary research coordination and interacting with external data collection and survey programming partners to ensure all tasks are conducted according to L.E.K. specifications in a quality and timely manner. You will obtain and organize external third-party cost estimates for inclusion in proposal submissions or sold projects. In this role you will also work with the Associate Director/Director to develop internal materials for our consulting staff and support the Director of Market Insights in specialized projects.

Job Requirements

  • Vendor Management: Foster and manage relationships with top-tier data collection firms and field agencies, both domestically and internationally.
  • Project Facilitation: Recommend vendor resources, obtain bid requests, and negotiate costs. Ensure seamless communication between consultants and vendors about project specifications and deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality checks for all vendor engagements and deliverables. Monitors activities of research programs and works with internal project teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Research Oversight: Verify the accuracy of online survey test links and assess soft launch data for overall validity.
  • Administrative Tasks: Keep an updated record of vendor costs, oversee vendor invoice payments, regularly update project management tool, and compile quarterly vendor performance reviews based on feedback from consulting staff.
  • Best Practices Advocate: Work closely with the Market Insights colleagues in promoting cutting-edge market research practices to our consulting staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or relevant degree
  • 1-3 years industry relevant experience
  • Demonstrated abilities to manage and interact with external suppliers
  • Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communications
