We are seeking a professional and skilled Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will handle emergency and non-emergency calls, make quick decisions, and coordinate appropriate responses. Responsibilities
- Receive inbound emergency and non-emergency calls
- Collect and document critical information from callers
- Prioritize calls based on urgency
- Dispatch appropriate response units to locations
- Monitor and respond to VHF radios
- Transmit information to the necessary departments or personnel
- Process invoices and maintain accurate records
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent typing and data entry skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with emergency response protocols (preferred)
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Full-time position
- Weekend and holiday availability required
