Essential Functions
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required: Familiar with data integrity requirements of a contact management system. Familiarity with information privacy requirements. Previous work experience that required discretion and confidentiality of sensitive information. Strong customer service and organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism. Ability to work effectively as part of a team of unique personalities. Strong analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to work some evenings and weekends and to travel periodically for events, meetings and receptions.
Preferred: Advanced software skills, including the Microsoft Office suite and a Salesforce-based database.
Physical Capacity Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for long periods on occasion and carry objects up to 10 pounds. The ability to work at a desk with frequent use of keyboard and monitor. Education, Training & Experience
Required: Bachelor’s degree. Three or more years of customer service experience. Three or more years of management experience.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. Stewardship experience withing the nonprofit and higher education sectors.

Essential Functions
- Work with high degree of confidentiality and discretion.

- Maintaining organization of significant volume of data.
- Strong numerical skills and ability to work with high degree of accuracy.
- Serve as the point of contact for the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid and other entities at Texas A&M in regard to all endowment qualifications, scholarship recipients, and scholarship awarding.
- Manage stewardship and gift processing efforts for The Association of Former Students.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of donor data entry, gift posting, gift receipting and acknowledgements, recognition items, and endowment reporting.
- Manage review, coordination, and awarding process for all Endowed Scholarships and Aggie Ring Scholarships in conjunction with Texas A&M Student Financial Aid office, including all necessary communication with scholarship recipients and endowment donors.
- Regularly communicate with scholarship donors regarding their endowment’s financial statements and appropriate information regarding their scholarship recipients.
- Review and submit payment requests and documentation for all restricted fund endowments managed by The Association of Former Students.
- Manage record-keeping and documentation for all major gifts, endowment and capital gift agreements.
- Manage special presentations of Aggie Ring Scholarships.
- Oversee the drafting of gift agreements and completion of all steps involved in creating new endowed accounts within the donor database, accounting software and other related data systems required for managing endowed account information.
- Provide expertise for memorial giving inquires and serve as the point of contact for new memorial endowed and non-endowed accounts.
- Oversee the planning and execution of all stewardship events, including but not limited to annual events for the Endowed Century Club, Endowed Scholarships, Aggie Ring Scholarships, Aggie Park, Diamond Century Club, and Thank an Ag Day.
- Generate reports for Vice President of Development, Senior Director of Development, and Assistant Director of Development.
- Point of contact for incoming inquiries regarding stewardship, gift processing, major gifts, memorials, concerns, or comments, and other development matters.
- Collaborate with Association departments (e.g., Accounting, Information Systems, Gift Processing, Marketing, Communications) to improve standard operating procedures, increase efficiency in processes, and create opportunities designed to improve donor engagement and retention.
- Provide support for special events as needed, including luncheons, Board committee meetings, and miscellaneous meetings and events.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Participate in various Association-wide activities such as engagement and fundraising goals, internal event teams, task committees, attending gameday receptions, Distinguished Alumni Gala and other external events as required.
