The company’s mission is to revolutionize the premium cataract surgery experience by allowing surgeons to partner with their patients to achieve optimized results for every unique eye.
The Manager of Medical Affairs will provide clinical support to multiple internal and external customers, including RxSight Clinical Affairs Liaisons, RxSight Clinical Training Specialists, MD and OD customers, RxSight post-market surveillance, RxSight marketing, and RxSight customer experience. This individual will be a subject matter expert in company technologies who can efficiently manage relevant data collection, analysis, and communication of findings for ongoing clinical case investigations. The Manager of Medical Affairs will assist in tracking inquiries that may be used to guide clinical support of external customers and continuing education topics for RxSight Clinical Training Specialists. In addition, they may assist in the identification and communication of best practice techniques that can be shared with internal and external customers. This individual may also assist in work related to the mining of data from registered Light Delivery Devices to proactively identify clinical practice trends that may guide further investigation or customer education. On-site support may occur from time to time to provide LAL education to prospective or current users, to collect/analyze data as part of a clinical outcomes program, or to provide clinical support/recommendations for identified clinics.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the dissemination of fair and balanced clinical, scientific, and educational information to Ophthalmologists, Optometrists and other eyecare professionals, whose inquires are received via the company support line or RxSight Clinical Training Specialists.
- Assist with responses to field team member clinical inquiries received via RxSight’s clinical inquires email distribution, as needed.
- Assist with responses to consumer questions/requests received via RxSight’s website or social media accounts.
- Assist with relevant data collection necessary to investigate medical affairs inquires or cases required for MDR reporting.
- Assist with tracking of internal and external inquiries to help guide support of external customers and continuing education topics for RxSight clinical trainers.
- Assist with mining of data from registered LDDs to proactively identify clinical practice trends that may guide further investigation or customer education.
- Support LAL education opportunities for prospective or current users including the use of clinical data as collected/analyzed within RxSight’s clinical outcomes program, as needed.
- Assist with the identification and communication of best practice techniques that can be shared with internal and external customers, as needed.
- Provide clinical support to identified LAL clinics.
- Attend and support company activities at national and regional meetings.
- Maintain clinical, scientific and technical expertise in all current and future products
- Ability to travel up to 25% as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to understand, integrate and effectively communicate scientific/clinical and commercial value of company products and technology
- Previous industry experience working with Clinical/R&D/Marketing teams in a highly regulated, commercial medical device business.
- Demonstrated planning, organizational and project management abilities
- Proven ability to develop relationships with clinicians and other Healthcare Professionals
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as scientific acumen
- A high degree of personal initiative and a high professional standard for all interactions.
- Clinical degree (MD or OD)
- 5 + years of related experience working in cataract surgery devices required.
- Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system
- The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis
