As a Manager, Labor Relations, you will be responsible for managing labor relations, including collective bargaining, grievance processes, contract administration, and labor and management relationships. You will leverage data and insights to assess and drive action to elevate customer and partner experiences.
As a Manager, Labor Relations, You Will
- Inspire partners to emotionally connect to and embody our Mission & Values, ensuring inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility are integrated into practices at all levels.
- Investigate and resolve grievances and workplace concerns, including best practices to reduce bias during the investigation process.
- Serve as a balanced advocate for all partners, while role modeling personal growth through self-awareness and reflection.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and act as a catalyst for change, seeing opportunities and driving improvements.
- We’d love to hear from people with:
- Understanding of labor and human resources related laws and regulations, including but not limited to the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), Title VII, ADA, ADAAA, ADEA, FMLA & state/local laws and ordinances.
- 3-7 years of experience in Labor Relations, Human Resources, or related fields.
- Ability to articulate perspective and influence via effective verbal and written communication skills to peers and leaders.
- Solid technical business writing skills.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Experience facilitating training courses and leading meetings.
- Proficiency in technology and use of case management systems, such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and project management systems.
- The successful candidate must be capable of significant domestic travel, sometimes with short notice, 50% to 75% of the time.
- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
