Manager, IT Infrastructure

Purpose: The IT Operations Manager is responsible for computer systems hardware, network, telephone and data communications, and server environments. This position manages and directs IT employees and vendors engaged in design, installation, update, monitoring, and support of these services.

Essential Duties

• Management of IT operations personnel, including network administration and help desk services
• Maintenance, planning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IT operations equipment, systems, and services. Ensure proper delivery and SLA of IT services. Provide KPI and performance measurements for senior management review.
• Planning, monitoring, response and remediation for security and/or disaster events and scenarios
• Manage IT vendor contracts, relationships and services. Ensure proper delivery and SLA of vendor services
• Management and delivery of auditing requirements for internal and external parties
• Budgeting and resource planning
• Development and maintenance of internal procedures, policies and standards to manage IT operations systems and activity
• Direct and assist in systems support
• Communicate and coordinate issues and their resolution with appropriate parties
• Create a positive, supportive and mentoring environment to elicit the organizational and technical skills necessary for employees to deliver timely and professional service.

Work Experience

• 4 or more years of IT operations management or supervision experience
• Experience with IT systems management, personnel supervision, budgeting and resource planning
  
  

Education, Certificates, Licenses, or Designations

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science
  
  

Specific Skills

• Strong technical experience and expertise in WAN and LAN networking, virtualization, data and VOIP communications, Active Directory, and hosted systems and services
• Experience with service delivery frameworks, policies and procedures; ongoing measurement and reporting; and third-party auditing of control and performance environments.
• Project planning. Establishment of expectations, milestones, deadlines and resource requirements.

The anticipated salary/hourly range for this position is $170,000- $180,000, and includes benefits such as the following:
