Manager, Infrastructure/Telecom

The Manager, Infrastructure/Telecom will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of infrastructure and telecom services to meet the organization's business needs. This role will manage the IT infrastructure, architecture design, and telecom teams to ensure the organization’s technology needs are met efficiently and securely. This role involves strategic planning, project management, cybersecurity oversight, and team leadership to support business operations, as well as innovation. The Manager, Infrastructure/Telecom collaborates with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with company goals while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and strategic plans to support business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for technological advancements and process improvements.
• Oversee the maintenance, security, and reliability of IT systems, networks, and cloud-based services.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
• Experience in identifying potential security risks and implementing preventive measures.
• Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure components including networking, servers, storage, and cloud technologies.
• Adhere to, review, and have strong understanding of cybersecurity policies to facilitate monitoring and protect company data and systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and IT security standards.
• Provide necessary information to support regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience with healthcare-specific systems (EMR/EHR, telehealth, etc.) and compliance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST).
• Foster collaboration between IT and other departments to address business needs.

Required Experience

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5 or more years of experience in IT management, infrastructure administration, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, database management, storage, networking, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity practices.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and IT project execution.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
