Job Overview

C4H Building Specialist LLC is seeking skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician - Self-Storage Facilities to perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks at commercial self-storage facilities. From repairing large bay doors and gates to troubleshooting lighting and HVAC issues, you will be the go-to expert ensuring our clients' facilities remain safe, secure, and operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance services for self-storage facilities, including light electrical, HVAC, and overhead & roll-up garage doors, access control systems, slide gates and steel building structures.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair unit doors, gates, lighting systems, and other safety/security features.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and time spent on jobs.
• Collaborate with supervisors, crew members, and subcontractors on larger projects.
• Work independently on assigned tasks, ensuring high-quality results with minimal supervision.
• Operate company-provided service vehicle and maintain tools in safe working condition.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in rotating 'on-call' weekends for emergency repairs.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on trade experience (5 years preferred) in one or more of the following: light electrical, HVAC, access controls, security camera, or garage door repair
• Valid driver's license in good standing (required to operate company vehicle).
• Ownership of required basic tools or willingness to obtain them promptly.
• The company may provide required tools or equipment, with an agreed repayment plan if costs are covered upfront. Terms will be confirmed in writing prior to purchase.
• Strong problem-solving skills and 'can-do' mindset.
• Good physical health, with the ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in various environments.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, full-time.
• Rotating 'on-call' weekends for emergency repairs.
  
  

Location

• Work performed throughout Michigan, primarily in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties.
• Travel to various job sites required; company vehicle provided after training.
