About the Role:
West Volusia Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Director to lead our facility’s maintenance operations. This role is vital to ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance operations to maintain a safe and compliant facility.
- Supervise and schedule maintenance staff; assign tasks and ensure productivity.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and the building structure.
- Maintain accurate records for repairs, inspections, and warranties.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal maintenance regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues.
- Coordinate facility upgrades, repairs, and improvement projects.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in a skilled nursing facility.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Thorough knowledge of equipment, building systems, and safety standards.
