Machinist- Manual Machinist - 1st shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated individual to learn and operate manual/automated CNC machines used to sharpen carbide saw blades. This position plays a critical role in maintaining quality, productivity, and safety in our manufacturing process.

Essential Functions

• Operate and monitor CNC machines to sharpen carbide saw blades according to print specifications.
• Inspect blades during and after processing to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, greasing, and replacing cutting wheels.
• Maintain smooth workflow by ensuring proper material flow through the production area.
• Accurately complete all required production and quality control documentation.
• Communicate material shortages to appropriate team members promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 6S and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and uphold company policies and ethical standards.
