Machine Learning Engineer

Description

As the Machine Learning Engineer, you design and develop scalable systems and frameworks to support the deployment, monitoring, and governance of machine learning models. This role acts as a bridge between data science and production, enabling reproducible, auditable, and high-performing ML workflows across the organization.

About The Role

• Partner with data scientists to productionize models and design model training, testing, and deployment pipelines
• Develop automated CI/CD workflows for machine learning using tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar
• Implement observability, logging, and alerting frameworks for deployed models and services
• Build and maintain reusable components including feature stores, model registries, and experiment tracking systems
• Participate in architecture and code reviews to ensure scalable and maintainable ML systems
• Optimize inference pipelines for latency and throughput in real-time and batch settings
• Collaborate cross-functionally with governance, cloud infrastructure, and platform teams
• Contribute to internal documentation, onboarding resources, and reusable templates for ML teams
  
  

About You

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience in ML engineering, MLOps, or backend software development
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using ML libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost
• Experience deploying ML models into production environments
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with experiment tracking and model registry tools such as MLflow or SageMaker Model Registry
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS SageMaker for model training and deployment
• Exposure to feature engineering tools and real-time feature stores
• Familiarity with orchestration tools used for scheduling data workflows and managing ML pipelines
• Understanding of model monitoring, data drift detection, and continuous retraining strategies
• Experience collaborating with data scientists to templatize reusable pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and working with structured and unstructured data
