rewarding career. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring mobile
collection operations have the supplies, equipment and vehicles
necessary to successfully conduct blood drives. This includes but is not
limited to preparing supplies in advance of blood drive operations,
evaluating and triaging incoming supplies after use in operations and
monitoring the maintenance and repair status of vehicles, ensuring
vehicles are clean (inside and outside). Seeks opportunities to improve
the facilities and processes related to the blood collection vehicle and
supply processes. Ensures all supplies are prepared and available on a
daily basis. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be
assigned): 1. Allocates and prepares the appropriate supplies for mobile
operations based on established par levels, the drive schedule, and
products to be collected. 2. Evaluates supplies being returned from
mobile operations and maintains these supplies in a manner that allows
for lot number control and effective use of the supply. 3. Prepares
packing ice in accordance with procedures to be taken on mobile
collection operations. 4. Reviews drive instructions and special
requests to ensure mobile operations are properly equipped prior to
departure to a collection operation. 5. Maintains and monitors the
vehicle maintenance status, schedules and coordinates vehicle
maintenance and works closely with the collections management team to
ensure DOT compliance. 6. Reviews Pre and Post Trip paperwork to ensure
compliance with procedures and to identify vehicle or driver trends that
require corrective action. 7. Maintains accurate and complete records
for supply allocation and vehicle maintenance. 8. Ensures vehicles are
clean, tidy, and in good repair 9. Manages projects associated with
supplies or vehicles as requested. 10. Independently troubleshoots and
tracks supply, vehicle or driver issues and makes recommendations for
correction and prevention 11. Conducts training as necessary for
relevant process revisions and implementations. 12. Provide support to
in operations drivers in case questions or concerns about a vehicle
arise. Determines whether a vehicle is in or out of service based on
industry and DOT safety standards. 13. Available as needed to coordinate
