Job Summary
The Logistics Clerk is responsible for managing the organization's daily logistical operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution. Oversee warehousing of goods and regularly review inventory to ensure accurate product adjustments. Plan and schedule inbound and outbound shipments based on customer needs, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Serve as the liaison between customers, freight carriers, and the shipping department. Ensure timely delivery of goods by investigating and resolving any detention issues. Support cost control efforts by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting the most cost-effective shipping methods in accordance with Department of Defense guidelines.

Job Summary

Roles And Responsibilities
- Maintain records related to receipts, movements, and issuance of materials.
- Ensure accuracy of material quantities based on usage and consumption.
- Coordinate material transfers from Production to Repair and Overhaul (R&O) and issue assets to R&O Line Technicians.
- Communicate with R&O Planners about part shortages that may delay timely issuance of materials to R&O Technicians.
- Inspect products for quality and quantity before transfer and issuance to ensure accuracy in material records.
- Assist the Material Stockroom with monthly cycle counts, annual inventories, and the receipt and issuance of materials as needed.
- Must be a US Citizen,
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Experienced with SAP for material movement transactions.
- Knowledgeable in processing product receipts and inductions, including the use of SAP transaction codes related to material receipts, kitting pulls, inspection notifications, and material issuance.
