Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in providing safe, effective, and individualized therapy sessions.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while adhering to facility policies.
- Follow strict safety and infection control protocols to protect residents and staff.
- Keep therapy areas clean, organized, and fully stocked with working equipment.
- Report hazardous conditions or equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Ensure compliance with labeling and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) requirements.
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted license to practice as a PTA in Florida.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a nursing home or rehabilitation setting preferred.
