Job Description

The Data Governance team in Lockheed Martin’s (LM) Missile & Fire Control (MFC) Data & Analytics Organization is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to add to our team and help us drive business success through data-driven insights. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented data professional with a passion for solving business problems and working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. As a Data Analyst on our team, you will play a critical role in solving complex business problems by architecting and delivering analytics solutions that drive business outcomes. Our team is a collaborative and innovative group that takes on a wide range of projects, from data design, mapping and integration to developing advanced analytics solutions by leveraging data and various analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solve complex business problems by analyzing data and developing actionable insights
  • Architect and deliver analytics solutions using a variety of tools and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional MFC business and technical stakeholders to understand business needs and develop targeted solutions.
  • Work across people, processes, and technologies to drive the implementation of Data Governance
  • Set up and maintain data processes and new analytics capabilities in support of evolving business strategy

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Aerospace & Defense business applications, processes, and data sources
  • Experience with Data Governance, Data Management, Analytics practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to quickly understand new business domains
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with LM Data Architecture
  • Proficient in the use of data catalog tools such as Collibra or IBM Knowledge Catalog
  • Ability to identify and build key data metrics
  • Ability to understand and help build Data Governance strategies, how to improve data-related activities within D&A, and document/develop data processes
  • Experience with SAP Master Data Management & Governance framework, tools, and processes
  • Proficient in the use of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
