Job Description: A well-established immigration law firm in Carlsbad, CA is seeking an experienced Bilingual Immigration Paralegal with a strong background in Family-Based and Humanitarian immigration matters. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with an immediate start date - ideally within the week.

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, strong experience drafting declarations, and a deep understanding of humanitarian and family-based cases.

While the current focus is on family and humanitarian immigration, the ideal candidate should be open to learning business immigration.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in family-based and humanitarian immigration
  • Strong writing skills and experience preparing declarations
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (Bilingual required)
  • Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, multi-office team environment

Preferred Qualities

  • Open to training in business immigration
  • Proactive, adaptable, and resourceful
  • Positive attitude despite firm staffing challenges
  • Compensation: $25-$35/hour (DOE)
