Key job responsibilities
Our team is dedicated and responsible for the learning and development of Ring Customer Support associates. We design, create and develop learning solutions to enhance associate knowledge around our products and services to provide a world class customer experience. We offer learning programs that support new hire onboarding, product knowledge, troubleshooting, the customer experience, coaching, leadership development, and specialty training.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Key job responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, and evaluate training solutions aligned with business objectives
- Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to gather requirements and create learning content
- Design and develop engaging multimedia content using various authoring tools
- Create storyboards, scripts, and job aids that support learning objectives
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to course development
- Ensure consistency in learning design across multiple programs and platforms
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Conduct needs assessments and identify performance gaps
- Measure and evaluate training effectiveness through various assessment methods
- Stay current with industry trends and learning technologies
- Maintain course content and curriculum documentation
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of learning programs

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Business, or related field
- 3+ years experience in instructional design, training development, and e-learning creation
- Proven experience with Articulate 360/Storyline or similar authoring tools
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging training materials including e-learning courses, instructor-led materials, job aids, and multimedia content
- Experience managing multiple projects and implementing process improvements
- Track record of working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- Experience using data and metrics to drive program improvements
- Advanced multimedia development skills (video, graphics, audio)
- Experience with system simulations and basic HTML
- Background in process improvement initiatives
- Experience working in a fast-paced, global environment
- Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, or related field
- Proven competence using an LMS, such as Cornerstone, Moodle, or Thinking Cap
- Experience with evidence-based instructional design and learning analytics
- Multimedia development capabilities (video editing, graphics design, animation)
- Basic HTML and system simulation skills
- Experience building and managing complex project schedules
- History of success in fast-paced, global environments
- Proven ability to measure and communicate learning impact to stakeholders
- Portfolio of eLearning samples required at interview
