Lean & Operation Leader, Mechanical COE

Job Description Summary

The Senior Sourcing Lean Leader is responsible for driving operational excellence across the Mechanical Center of Excellence (CoE). In this role, you will lead the development and execution of supply chain lean initiatives to improve performance across the supply base. You will achieve tangible business outcome through the applicable of lean principles at tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to create a lean vision and implement a lean strategy across the Mechanical CoE supply base.
• Drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, supplier lead-time, on-time delivery and product cost Support suppliers in developing value stream maps and eliminating process waste through the application & implementation of lean techniques.
• Deploy & operationalize Lean/MOREWIND broadly across the COE, thereby reducing waste and driving efficiencies
• May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
• Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics.
• May guide others to consider a different point of view.
• Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives.
• Work is subject to functional policy objectives.
• Regularly advises management in the function and/or in the business.
• Has a supportive role in decision making about important subjects.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
• Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in the Sourcing & Commodity Management.

• This position will not support sponsorship.
• For US based candidates: The base pay range for this position is $108,800.00 - $181,300.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 15%.
• The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
