Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

AT&T is looking for a Lead Software Engineer on our Core Network Program Management Office (PMO) Data Analytics, Tooling, and Automation (DATA) team based in Plano, TX. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.g., troubleshooting) and maintenance with a focus on ensuring our application conforms with all security requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with internal project management teams to ensure application features align with user needs.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate to gather and review software requirements and user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications, and collaborate with engineers and architects to assess and test software interactions.
• Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects, clients, etc. to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, and validate outcomes against expected results.
• In addition to Unit Test, responsibilities may include dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and/or user acceptance testing.
• Supports applications, the software deployment process. and solves configuration and environment issues.
• Ensure the application is kept up to date on security requirements as defined by the Chief Security Office and manage system scans, certificates, and security keys.

What you’ll need:

• Ability to work with a team of developers, data analysts, database administrators, and project managers
• Understanding of security principles, such as managing certificates, navigating Chief Security Office policies, and ensuring conformance to Astra and Azure security requirements.
• Strong drive for continuous learning
• Ability to meaningfully contribute innovative ideas to continuously improve the application
• Experience making and managing connections to external systems and building automated tasks based on incoming data

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years relevant experience
• Front-end development experience in Angular (or similar), HTML, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, C#, .NET Framework, Azure, and Power Platform

Our Lead Software Engineering, earns between $143,800.00 - $215,800.00

USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
