Position: Lead Project Manager - Agile Product Owner

Location: Westminster, CO (Remote)

Duration: 3+ Months Contract

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Leadership

• Manage and prioritize project streams across internal and external stakeholders
• Define business requirements and oversee resource allocation and budget analysis
• Lead technical teams, ensuring deliverables meet scope, schedule, and quality standards
• Monitor project reliability and resolve internal issues proactively
  
  

Agile Product Ownership

• Serve as Product Owner within Scrum/Kanban frameworks
• Lead agile ceremonies, cadence planning, and backlog grooming
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure transparency through status reporting
  
  

Compliance & Risk Management

• Apply knowledge of CMMC 2.0, DFARS, and regulated industry standards
• Support IT/cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance across technical workstreams
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project continuity
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to align project goals
• Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
• Support new product development and operational initiatives as needed
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of project/program management experience
• Proven success in Agile Product Owner roles
• Experience managing USG-supported projects and working in regulated industries
• Strong background in IT/cybersecurity programs, including CMMC 2.0
• Expertise in leading Scrum/Kanban teams and agile delivery cycles
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Bachelor’s degree required
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with company operations and complex technical projects
• Experience with DFARS, CMMC, and new product development
• Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills
