Salary Range

$128,000-148,000 USD annually

What You Will Be Doing

As a Lead Process Engineer, you will drive the development, implementation, and optimization of complex manufacturing processes to support operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker and experienced engineer who can independently manage high-impact projects, mentor engineers, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency across operations. You will serve as a senior technical resource, providing guidance in troubleshooting, process design, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement aligned with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-level process engineering projects from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes that improve safety, reduce cost, and increase efficiency and product quality.
• Oversee the scale-up of processes from R&D to full production; ensure processes meet performance standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and R&D teams to troubleshoot issues and develop long-term sustainable solutions.
• Conduct complex data analyses to evaluate process performance; drive continuous improvement through KPIs and statistical methods.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers; provide technical leadership and ensure best practices are adopted.
• Support facility-wide initiatives for Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ISO compliance.
• Design and implement equipment upgrades or new systems; support lifecycle management of production assets.
• Participate in strategic planning, including budgeting and capital projects, related to manufacturing operations.
  
  

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or related engineering field preferred.
• 7+ years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role.
  
  

What You Need

• Expert in process design, process optimization, and project management.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., CAD, SolidWorks), data analysis tools, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, and safety compliance.
• Familiar with equipment maintenance strategies and root cause analysis (RCA/CAPA).
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on problem-solving ability.
