We are seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Graphic Designer to join our team at Forward Madison FC.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Manage graphic request submission platform and work closely with the entire Forward staff to collaborate on requested projects, including but limited to matchday, kit launches, ticket promos, and community initiatives.
  • Design in-game graphics and animations for digital channels and the in-stadium video board prior to and during home and away matches.
  • Collaborate with the ticket sales team to create sales graphics and collateral.
  • Assist the merchandise team with retail capsules, products, kit design, and launches.
  • Work with the sponsorship team to accurately fulfill sponsor activations on an individual and season-long basis.
  • Create identity/logo design for internal initiatives, events, corporate partner events, and programs.
  • Prepare images for production through color correction and photo retouching techniques.
  • Assist on location and in-studio during photo shoots and special events.
  • Work with different staff to meet all deadlines for creative projects.
  • Stay up to date on the latest design trends, innovative sports branding, and industry best practices to continuously elevate the visual presence of the FMFC brand.
  • Receive and incorporate feedback from key stakeholders to improve and refine visual designs, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in graphic design or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, graphic design, or a related field
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with experience using other industry-standard tools and platforms like Canva, and After Effects, and project management tools like Trello
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategies effectively
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for sports and a strong understanding of hockey culture and fan engagement
  • Prior experience in sports, entertainment, or team-oriented organizations is preferred
