The Lead Fulfillment Specialist will:
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules
- Plan and schedule material / production needs
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepares and updates production schedules and purchasing needs
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
- Optimize inventory and process improvements
- Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
- Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
- Communicate across direct organization
- Present to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy
- Deliver products as part of a team
- Connect the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions
- Work on cross-functional projects / teams to deliver technology solutions for the business
- Communicate across the function in area of expertise
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in fulfillment, planning, materials, manufacturing operations or related supply chain experience) + a minimum of 3 years of experience in 4 years of experience in fulfillment, planning, materials, manufacturing operations or related supply chain experience
- Knowledge and experience working in a machine shop environment
- Understanding of LEAN principals
- Possess leadership capabilities
- Prior experience working in a Union environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams
- Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
