KMA Available Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm and every other weekend and Monday-Friday 3pm -11pm and every other weekend Weekend Shift Differential of $5 an hour when you work anytime from Friday 7am to Monday 7am. Homestead Post Acute is a premier provider of physical rehabilitation, skilled nursing and long-term care services. We are currently looking for Kentucky Medication Aides (KMA) to provide excellent direct care for our residents. As a KMA you will be on the front lines caring for our residents. Homestead Post Acute is recruiting new team-members who appreciate working in a team environment, providing nursing leadership, knowing that resident care is top priority. MUST HAVE KMA CERTIFICATION AND AN ACTIVE SRNA CERTIFICATION. As an KMA your essential duties include:

  • Administering medications to facility residents within your scope of practice
  • Proactive care for resident ADLs
  • Communication with nurses and other team members
  • Friendly follow-up and follow-through
  • Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, teamwork and fun among team members
