Junior Quality Assurance Specialist

Description

We are looking for a Junior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and ensure the quality of our software products through effective manual testing. This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

As a Junior QA Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding requirements, writing detailed test cases, and executing them to identify defects. Strong communication and writing skills are essential, as you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and write clear, detailed test cases based on them.
• Perform comprehensive manual testing for user stories, identifying defects and areas for improvement.
• Participate in software validation processes, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct Manual API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger to verify backend functionality.
• Maintain test case documentation and update test coverage as the product evolves.
• Learn our complex software product quickly and gain a deep understanding of its functionality.
• Stay updated on QA best practices and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a manual QA role or a technical support role for a software product.
• Bachelors degree (major or minor) in a technical or analytical field.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum team.
• Experience working with test case management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Xray, TestRail).
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, Swagger (or similar)
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of eClinical or healthcare software and regulatory requirements in the industry is a plus.
