Junior Quality Analyst

Team Carney's Junior Quality Control Analyst (QC) learns from and supports Carney’s development team. This individual will be involved in testing web-based training, immersive learning simulations, and serious gaming projects. The QC team identifies performance and functional issues and tracks them through the revision cycle.

This position is Part Time (hourly rate).

This position is remote.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various methods of manual testing on applications/solutions
• Compatibility testing
• Performance testing
• Document errors, report errors, and verify the resolution of the issue
• Manage working on multiple projects with strict budgets and deadlines
• Matching product to specifications
• Adept at Editing projects across various platforms
• Work closely with other teams in a cross-functional production environment
• Ability to resolve issues through active listening, good judgment, and problem-solving skills
  
  

Minimum Requirements:

• U.S. citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Multimedia or a related field
• Able to pass a Background Check
  
  

Preferred Requirements:

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience manually testing web-based applications
• Familiarity with industry standard Quality Assurance processes and methodology
• Familiarity with testing for Section 508 compliance
• Experience testing multimedia applications, including training
• Experience testing HTML applications/websites

The Part Time Hourly range for this position is $24.00 to $29.00.
