Junior Program Manager

The firm is seeking an organized, proactive Junior Program Manager to coordinate end-to-end delivery of integrated marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of project- or program-management experience, a working knowledge of digital-marketing workflows, and a passion for driving projects to flawless execution.
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules (Smartsheet, Asana, or MS Project) that align with scope, budget, and resource plans for each campaign.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups and weekly status meetings; capture and distribute clear action items to cross-functional stakeholders (Strategy, Creative, Media, Analytics).
- Track budgets and process purchase orders /invoices; escalate variances greater than 5 percent and recommend mitigation plans.
- Route creative and media assets through brand, legal, and accessibility reviews; ensure final deliverables meet technical specifications.
- Monitor milestone completion, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on time and on quality.
- Compile initial post-launch performance snapshots and partner with analytics to prepare retrospective reports that highlight wins, gaps, and next steps.
- Uphold process discipline, document change requests, and contribute to the continuous improvement of campaign-delivery methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in project, program, or campaign coordination—preferably within an agency or in-house marketing environment.
- Hands-on proficiency with at least one project-management platform (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or MS Project).
- Familiarity with digital-marketing concepts (paid media channels, creative production workflows, performance metrics).
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with internal teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
- Nice to have: entry-level certification such as CAPM, Google Project Management, or Agile fundamentals; experience with Google Analytics or Looker Studio.
- Location: Hybrid — four days per week in our Alexandria, VA-area office, one day remote.
- Structured onboarding, peer mentorship, and a defined career path toward Program Manager.
- Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 base, plus annual performance-bonus eligibility.
