Job Summary:

CALSTART is a mission-driven industry organization focused on transportation decarbonization and clean air for all. The IT Security Specialist role will support the IT group and internal stakeholders with security and compliance requirements, while also providing Tier 2 help desk support.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing our corporate security posture and compliance to specific standards

• Provide internal IT support to user base, support internal IT infrastructure

• Lead our internal security initiatives and efforts to maintain controls/compliance

• Creation of internal documentation and other administrative duties

• Help with planning of implementation roadmap for security compliance

Qualifications:

Required:

• 2+ years of experience developing and implementing security controls

• 1+ year of familiarity with common security standards and auditing processes (SOC 2 Type II, NIST 800-171, GRC Platforms)

• 3+ years of experience Microsoft 365 administration, including Defender XDR

Preferred:

• Project coordination/management - 2+ years

• Technical support skills with wide array of knowledge - 3+ years
