Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience and hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related Technology field. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and the development and maintenance of KPI scorecards to drive informed business decisions. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in leveraging AI tools and advanced analytics to enhance financial modeling and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, analysis, and monitoring of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes
Develop, build, and maintain KPI scorecards and dashboards to track financial and operational performance metrics
Support the creation of detailed financial models to evaluate business performance, risks, and opportunities
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance drivers
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management to support strategic and operational decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and reconcile financial data inputs
Utilize AI and automation tools to streamline financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting accuracy
Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Assist in ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Technology-related field
2 to 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis or related financial roles
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proven experience using AI tools or technologies in financial analysis, forecasting, or reporting
Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial planning systems (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, or similar)
Experience building and maintaining KPI scorecards and dashboards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly present complex data
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Proficiency in business intelligence and database querying (SQL preferred)
Innovative mindset focused on continuous improvement and process automation
Compensation & Benefits:
