Summary/Objective: The Jr. Desk Compliance Manager to manage a portfolio of Section 8 and LIHTC properties to ensure files are in compliance with federal, state and local agency requirements.

Classification: Non-Exempt; overtime eligible

Location: Baytown, TX 77521

Essential function/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Reviewing and approving all recertification and move-in packages prepared by site managers/Recertification Specialists;
• Working with the site management team and staff to ensure all recertifications and move-in files for Section 8, 236/Mitchell-Lama & LIHTC are completed timely and properly pursuant to agency guidelines;
• Generating and processing HUD EIV reports for site managers
• Assist with OCAF paperwork
• Supports Desk Compliance Manager with preparation of all Agency and Investor reporting
• Guides site managers on recertification corrections and questions
• Assist with Special projects and reporting as needed
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; required
• Knowledge of Section 8 and LIHTC
• Proficiency with computers, including knowledge of Excel, Yardi or similar Property Management software;
• Must be able to flourish in a fast-paced environment;
• Must have well-developed organizational, communication, and writing skills
  
  

Pay Range: $25.00 - $29.80 per hour
