Description

Essential Functions:

  • Manages clearly defined project plans and project schedules and monitors progress.
  • Works across multiple projects simultaneously and fosters partnerships with customers, stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Aligns projects’ objectives with company goals, and ensures project teams are clear on objectives
  • Leads the process of issue identification and resolution, manages the scope, risk tracking process and documentation of all assigned projects
  • Manages budgets and allocates project resources
  • Facilitates and troubleshoots problems associated with developing complex systems or with coordinating and development, and design projects
  • May deliver and install technology solutions based on project deliverables.
  • Protects company’s intellectual property and the privacy of customers’ data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.

Supervisory And Managerial Responsibility

  • Direct supervisory/managerial responsibility is not applic able, but the position does lead, counsel, and mentor others.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education, Licensure or Certification

  • Knowledge of computer science or engineering or a closely related field as normally obtained through the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent preferred

Work Experience Or Related Experience

  • 1-2 years’ experience as a project lead
  • Operational experience in a hospice environment is strongly preferred
  • Hospice, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, managed care or other pertinent health care services industry experience strongly preferred

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of project management applications and principles is required is required to perform the essential functions described.
  • Knowledge of principles involved in resource allocation, budgeting, and coordination of people and resources is required to perform the essential functions described.
  • The ability to encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members is essential.
  • The ability to be proactive and self-directed utilizing good time management, decision-making, and organization skills is required. Incumbents must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A good understanding of the Company’s products, technologies, selling strategies and internal business functions is necessary to become proficient and competent in this role
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow standard operating procedures with regard to patient data to ensure compliance with HIPPA is required.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast pace entrepreneurial environment

Travel Requirements And Conditions

  • Position may involve occasional travel as required by business needs

Physical Requirements And Demands

  • Work requires normal range of hearing and eyesight. Work requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. On occasion, incumbent must be able to lift and/or move weight, such as a briefcase, package or box that weighs up to 10 pounds. Incumbent should be able to perform work at a computer terminal for extended periods in a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions. Incumbent is subject to high and frequent levels of stress, as this position is accountable for all over-arching strategic technical goals and operations organization-wide.
