We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Administrator to provide remote technical support for multiple jobsite locations from a central hub. This role is ideal for someone skilled in troubleshooting hardware, software, and cloud-based solutions while ensuring end-users receive top-tier IT support.

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Administrator to provide remote technical support for multiple jobsite locations from a central hub. This role is ideal for someone skilled in troubleshooting hardware, software, and cloud-based solutions while ensuring end-users receive top-tier IT support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote and occasional onsite IT support for jobsite employees, including project coordinators, engineers, and office staff.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues via phone, email, and remote support tools.
- Manage Active Directory for user accounts, security groups, and password resets.
- Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and printers to support remote employees.
- Assist with ShareFile, Box, and other cloud-based document management tools for file access and collaboration.
- Support basic networking tasks, such as assisting users with connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, printer connections).
- Implement security best practices, including patching and endpoint protection.
- Maintain IT inventory and asset tracking for hardware deployed across multiple sites.
- Document common troubleshooting steps and create user guides for self-service IT support.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for hardware repairs and software escalations.
- Must be able to report on-site to our main office in Little Italy, San Diego, California
- 1-2+ years of IT Helpdesk or Technical Support experience in a multi-site or remote support environment.
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and remote troubleshooting tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop).
- Experience with ShareFile, Box, or other cloud-based file-sharing platforms.
- Strong understanding of basic IT troubleshooting (password resets, software installation, printer setup, user access issues).
- Comfortable assisting with networking tasks, such as Wi-Fi connectivity and VPN troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple support requests effectively.
- Experience in construction, engineering, or multi-location IT support environments.
- Familiarity with PDQ Deploy, PowerShell, or IT automation tools (preferred but not required).
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (preferred).
- $77,000-$82,000 per year
- The offered rate will be based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience.
- This position is eligible for our benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurance. We also offer a 401(k) plan with company match, company paid holidays and vacation.
