Position Overview/Position Responsibilities
The Inventory Clerk is the floor level inventory and quality representation for the Quality departments. You will work with inventory movements, quality metrics, and assist in investigations of inventory and quality discrepancies. This job will work in loose pick, full case and full pallet storage areas.

Position Overview/Position Responsibilities
The Inventory Clerk is the floor level inventory and quality representation for the Quality departments. You will work with inventory movements, quality metrics, and assist in investigations of inventory and quality discrepancies. This job will work in loose pick, full case and full pallet storage areas.
What We Are Looking For
- High School diploma or GED, college degree preferred
- 2 years previous experience in inventory and/or quality control
- Prior working knowledge of WMS or ERP
- Experience with WMS, with an emphasis on inventory control and slotting. Manhattan experience is a plus.
- Efficient with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SAP and inventory control experience a plus
- Perform cycle counts
- Manage daily inventory by reviewing and reconciling daily cuts, reviewing, and conduct cleansing of 999 Inventory and investigating discrepancies (purging of virtual bins to clear the inventory financials)
- Monthly quality reports
- Work with the Quality Manager to find root cause on quality and inventory discrepancies
- Prepare aged products for destruction
- Execution of smushes
- Monitor replenishments
- Assist in planning and execution of the annual physical inventory
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation ability to enable discussions on challenges, discussions and issues
- Must have demonstrated previous experience managing hourly staff
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to keep up with a fast paced and constantly changing environment
- Requires the ability to act independently without direct supervision as well as to support a team to accomplish critical and timely objectives
